Annual Cultural Programme

The Annual Cultural Programme in our college mainly focuses on the vibrant celebration of talent, diversity, and the creativity of future educators. It helps pupil-teachers develop event management, leadership, and collaboration skills while celebrating inclusivity, cultural diversity, and peer bonding.

The core objectives of this event serve multiple professional purposes for future educators such as leadership and teamwork, holistic development, cultural transmission, and soft skill development. It also acts as a genuine source of inspiration for trainee teachers as academic achievement awards are presented to talented students in various subjects. Memorial Awards and Appreciation Awards are given to students who secure the highest scores in their respective subjects.

Prizes for various events such as the Annual Debate and Quiz Competition, Creative Writing Competition, and other intra-college competitions are also presented to students as a source of motivation and encouragement.

The programme is committed to a variety of activities. The first half of the programme focuses on the Award Ceremony and the publication of the college journal “Dipan”, which includes literary contributions from both teachers and students. The second half of the programme is devoted entirely to cultural activities that provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in music, dance, drama, art, public speaking, and other creative fields.

It may be concluded that the Annual Cultural Programme is a well-rounded and skillfully organized event that successfully balances celebration with professional skill building, thereby contributing significantly to the holistic development of future educators.
